Food Bay of Plenty is a member based industry association comprising businesses in the Bay of Plenty food and beverage sector. These businesses are passionate about their products, want to grow their business and are willing to work collaboratively to achieve both (1) better commercial outcomes, and (2) contribute to the growth of the region's value added food and beverage sector.

The Bay of Plenty is a progressive, innovative, sustainability focused food region.
Food Bay of Plenty acts as a forum for sharing information and ideas among food producers and processors in the Bay of Plenty. Food Bay of Plenty explores opportunities to expand the region's food exports, create culinary tourism opportunities and expand local industry skills, knowledge and collaboration.
Food Bay of Plenty includes businesses ranging from large scale operators such as Taura Natural Ingredients to owner-operator businesses. It also includes key service providers to the industry. A detailed directory of businesses is available under the membership tab. This directory provides an opportunity for regional products and services to connect with potential markets both domestic and export.
The hospitality sector is also part of Food Bay of Plenty. This is to encourage local restaurants, hotels and cafes to feature locally produced foods through contact with local producers. Food Bay of Plenty's
'Plenty of Flavour' initiative assists with the promotion of regional cuisine and development of menu options showcasing the quality and flavour of the Bay's food and beverages.
